Terms of use
These Terms of Use constitute the applicable agreement between Cabivet and any clinic, business or authorized user that accesses the Cabivet platform.

01Acceptance
By creating an account or using Cabivet, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
- By creating an account, accessing the service or using it, you accept these Terms and the policies incorporated therein.
- If you use Cabivet on behalf of a clinic or company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity.
- If you do not accept these Terms, you must stop using the service immediately.
02The service
Cabivet is a B2B SaaS platform intended for operational support of veterinary clinics: records, schedule, consultations, billing, pharmacy, stock, reminders and documents. The exact scope depends on the chosen plan and the features actually available in the app.
Cabivet is not a certified veterinary medical device. The service helps organize clinical work, but never replaces veterinary judgment, professional obligations, or manual verification of sensitive information.
- Cabivet is intended for internal professional use by veterinary clinics and authorized veterinary activities.
- The service is offered globally; using it from any jurisdiction is at your own responsibility.
- Cabivet does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, dosing, automated clinical decisions or guaranteed regulatory compliance.
- Features may evolve, be limited, suspended, replaced or withdrawn depending on technical, commercial, security or compliance needs.
- Any autonomous medical use, without human professional verification, is prohibited and at your own risk.
03Account and access
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
- One account = one person. No account sharing between veterinarians.
- You must notify us promptly of any fraudulent use of your account.
- We may suspend an account in case of unpaid invoices, abuse or breach of these terms, with a reasonable cure period except in emergencies.
04Free trial
A 30-day trial is offered to each new clinic, without a credit card. Limit during the trial: 50 patients recorded. At the end of the trial, without subscription, access is suspended. Your data remains recoverable for an additional 30 days.
05Subscription and payment
Access to certain features requires an active subscription. Fees are payable in advance according to the chosen cycle.
- Plans: the applicable plans, features, limits and prices are those shown on the website, in the app or communicated at subscription.
- Cycle: monthly or annual. Annual equals 10 months (2 months free).
- Methods: card, bank transfer or any other method indicated at subscription. Payment information is processed by specialized providers.
- Renewal: automatic. You can disable renewal at any time in the settings.
- Plan change: possible at any time. The difference is prorated.
- Taxes: applicable taxes, duties, banking fees or public charges are at your expense unless otherwise stated on the invoice.
- Delay: non-payment may result in suspension, limitation or termination of access without prejudice to amounts already due.
06Availability and service changes
Cabivet is provided as available. No availability, performance, fix-time or continuity commitment is granted unless agreed separately in writing.
- The service may be unavailable for planned or unplanned maintenance.
- We may change the interface, features, limits, workflows or technical architecture.
- We may impose usage, storage, user, automation or request limits.
- No compensation, credit or refund is due for any interruption, slowness, error or maintenance, except as expressly stated in the Refund Policy.
07Your data
The data you enter in Cabivet remains your data. You only authorize us to process, store and transmit it to the extent necessary to provide the service.
- You remain the owner of all data entered in Cabivet.
- You can export your data at any time from the settings, in readable formats (CSV, JSON, PDF).
- We process your data in accordance with our privacy policy.
- If the service is discontinued, you will be notified at least 90 days in advance. Your data remains exportable throughout that period.
- You are responsible for keeping your own operational backups of critical information and for verifying your exports before any termination.
- Client data may be transferred and processed in Germany (European Union) for storage, security and operational purposes.
- You warrant that you have the authorizations, legal bases and consents needed to enter and process the data in Cabivet.
08Backups and data loss
You are solely responsible for keeping independent backups of your critical data. Cabivet does not guarantee retention, restoration or recovery of your data in all circumstances.
- Data loss, corruption, deletion or unavailability may result from human error, software defects, technical incidents, cyberattacks, suspension or termination.
- You must export and verify your data before any termination, plan change, account deletion or end of trial.
- After suspension or termination, we may delete data without obligation to restore it, unless legally required otherwise.
- Invoices, logs or items required for security, accounting or compliance may be kept even after termination.
- Cabivet is not responsible for professional, financial, tax, clinical or operational consequences of data loss.
09Intellectual property
Cabivet, its interface, texts, components, structure, trademarks, graphic elements and code remain the property of Cabivet or its licensors. Your subscription only grants you a limited right of access and internal use.
- You may not copy, reproduce, rent, resell, sublicense or redistribute access to the service.
- You may not disassemble, reverse-engineer or try to extract the source code of the service.
- Suggestions or feedback you send may be used to improve Cabivet without any obligation to compensate you.
10Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Cabivet for illegal activities or activities harmful to animal welfare.
- Send unsolicited messages (spam) via WhatsApp or email reminders.
- Attempt to scrape, copy, disassemble or compromise the infrastructure.
- Resell access to the service to third parties.
- Use Cabivet to circumvent tax, accounting, professional, ordinal or regulatory obligations.
- Share credentials, bypass roles or grant access to an unauthorized person.
- Upload, transmit or store illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, misleading content or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Use the service to develop, train, benchmark or commercialize a competing product.
11Warranty disclaimer
Within the limits permitted by applicable law, Cabivet is provided as-is and as available, without express, implied or statutory warranty.
- No warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
- No warranty that the service will meet your requirements, workflows, business constraints or internal obligations.
- No warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, complete, fast or error-free.
- No warranty that defects, bugs, vulnerabilities or errors will be fixed within a given timeframe.
- You use the service at your own risk and remain responsible for assessing its fit for your activity.
12Liability
Within the limits permitted by applicable law, Cabivet excludes any liability for indirect losses, data loss, business interruption, clinical decisions, input errors, regulatory non-compliance or damages resulting from improper use of the service.
- indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential losses;
- loss of revenue, profits, goodwill, reputation, opportunities or business;
- loss, corruption, deletion or unavailability of data;
- stock, billing, pricing, reminder, prescription, calculation or export errors;
- fines, sanctions, disputes, audits or regulatory non-compliance specific to your activity;
- claims by animal owners, employees, suppliers, administrations or third parties;
- damages arising from a decision made on the basis of the service without independent verification.
13Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Cabivet harmless against any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense arising from:
- your use of the service or that of your authorized users;
- your breach of these Terms or associated policies;
- your data, collection practices, processing, messages or relationships with your clients, employees or suppliers;
- your breach of a law, third-party right, professional obligation or regulatory requirement.
14Suspension and termination
We may limit, suspend or terminate access in case of non-payment, security risk, breach of these terms, illegal activity, abuse of the service or valid legal request.
- You can request termination of your subscription as described in the Refund and Billing Policy.
- Termination does not erase amounts already due for started periods or services already rendered.
- After termination, some data may be deleted or kept only where law, security or accounting requires it.
15Force majeure
Cabivet cannot be held liable for delay or failure to perform caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, including infrastructure failure, cyberattack, telecom interruption, administrative decision, disaster, conflict, strike, pandemic or unavailability of a third-party provider.
16Changes
Any material change to these terms is notified to you by email and in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you may cancel at no cost before the effective date.
17Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction where Cabivet is established. Any dispute falls under the competent courts there, after reasonable attempts at amicable resolution.
18General provisions
- Entire agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Disclaimer, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Cookie Policy and the Refund Policy constitute the agreement applicable to the service.
- Severability: if a clause is held invalid, the other clauses remain applicable.
- No waiver: failure to enforce a clause immediately is not a waiver.
- Assignment: you may not assign your rights without written agreement. Cabivet may assign its rights as part of a reorganization, asset sale or service evolution.
- Language: in case of multiple versions, the version published by Cabivet in the original language prevails unless otherwise stated.
