01Purpose
Cabivet provides administrative and operational tools for veterinary clinics: records, schedule, invoices, prescriptions, stock, reminders and documents. Features are designed to support clinic organization, not to delegate a professional decision.
02Not a medical device
Cabivet does not diagnose, does not prescribe automatically and does not recommend any treatment. Every clinical decision remains the sole responsibility of the authorized veterinarian.
- Vaccine and procedure reminders are administrative aids based on data entered by the clinic.
- Generated prescriptions and documents must be reviewed, approved and signed by an authorized professional.
- Stock, expiry or allergy alerts do not replace the clinic's internal controls.
- Cabivet does not guarantee automatic compliance with all applicable veterinary, tax or regulatory obligations.
- Is not intended to be used as a certified medical record or official regulatory system.
- Is not a substitute for the expertise, examination, responsibility or professional obligations of the veterinarian.
03Professional liability
The clinic and its users remain responsible for the accuracy of data entered, the information given to animal owners, compliance with professional rules and retention of records required by law.
- Verify history, allergies, doses, products and dates before any decision.
- Maintain internal procedures for sensitive medications, cold chain and critical stocks.
- Obtain the necessary consents from owners when their data is processed or shared.
- Train team members to use Cabivet within the limits of their role.
04Accuracy of information
Cabivet displays the information present in your workspace. We do not guarantee that every piece of data, calculation, export, reminder or document is complete, up to date, legally compliant or free of error in all circumstances.
- patient records, history, allergies or alerts;
- stock, expiry dates, prices, margins, payments or invoices;
- reminders, calendars, due dates or notifications;
- PDFs, exports, tables, reports or statistics;
- data coming from third parties, users, devices, browsers or external services.
05Third-party services
The service may depend on third-party providers, notably for hosting, payment, email, security, monitoring or messaging. For security reasons, we do not publish the identity of our infrastructure providers. Their interruptions, delays, errors or changes may affect Cabivet.
06No warranties
Cabivet is provided as-is and as available, within the limits set by applicable law. We exclude implied warranties of performance, fitness for a particular purpose, or absence of error or continuous interruption.
- warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement;
- warranty of availability, speed, continuity, security or absence of vulnerability;
- warranty of accuracy, reliability, completeness or correctness of results;
- warranty of data preservation or restoration;
- warranty of compliance with any veterinary, tax, accounting, regulatory or administrative obligation.
07Limitation of liability
Within the limits permitted by applicable law, Cabivet will not be liable for the following damages, even if their possibility has been signaled:
- indirect losses, business interruption, loss of profits, revenue, reputation or opportunities;
- stock errors, shortages, overstocks, expiry, pricing, billing or collection errors;
- clinical, professional, commercial, tax or regulatory decisions made on the basis of the service;
- sanctions, fines, audits, customer claims or third-party actions;
- interruptions, slowness, unavailability, defects, bugs, vulnerabilities or security incidents;
- any use of the service contrary to the Terms, the Disclaimer or the Acceptable Use Policy.
08Data loss
Cabivet does not guarantee that data will always be available, complete, intact or recoverable. You must maintain independent backups and verify critical information before using it.
09Security
Even with reasonable measures, no online service can eliminate all risk of breach, unauthorized access, human error, malware, account theft or cyberattack.
- You must protect your credentials and devices.
- You must restrict internal access according to actual roles.
- You must promptly report any suspected unauthorized access.
- You accept the risks inherent in using an online service.
10No legal, tax or compliance advice
Information provided by Cabivet, its interface, support or documentation does not constitute legal, tax, accounting, veterinary regulatory or compliance advice. Consult a qualified professional for your specific obligations.
